Where do kids want to go in London? .......

Day three in London was all about the kids.
We decided to let them set the itinerary. Needless to say they wanted to go to M and M World and Hamleys toy shop. We actually went to Hamleys a couple of days ago, it was a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. The kids walked away with their luggage sized toys and Ken and I walked away with the yummiest looking chocolate. On this next occasion they purely wanted one of the Hamleys crazy milk shakes.

M and M world was as expected.  More tacky M and M merch' than you can poke a stick at, and more  M and Ms than you could eat in a life time (I would be willing to have a good crack at it though).

Half an hour after we left this personal trainers nightmare (Cathy/Jack, i know you're out there), as we sat on a double decker bus roaming around London, I had to confess to Finley "I think I have M and M poisoning".

Lunch was at OXO tower (the chocolate poisoning a distant memory). It was  a  trip down memory Lane from a boozy lunch ten years before for the BFFs 30th birthday. We had a wonderful lunch of soft shell crab, quail, bass, tuna.  And, the service was excellent. Really friendly and attentive.  Despite half the people in London seeming to have an Aussie accent, the Londoners seem to always want to have a chat about us and Australia.

See shots below from M and M world, Hamleys toy shop (the Lego royals),  yummy food at Oxo tower, and Fin and Kenz out front of Kensington Palace - Hyde Park (taken on our morning run at the local park!!!!)
